New medium period NE energy is showing 2.4ft 14s at the N buoy. Below are the maps of November 4 through 8 that show the fetch that generated it (black arrow). As you can see, it was aiming well east of us, so we'll get mostly angular spreading and it should last about four days.
Below is the Surfline forecast showing 4ft 14s tomorrow. Seems optimistic, unless the fetch got stronger or better oriented in between the samples that I collect every 24h.
Let's not forget the windswell, still up at almost 7ft 8s from 80 at Mokapu. Home guess for Hookipa is waist to chest high with an increase throughout the day.
