Saturday 2 10 24 morning call

Party wave on eastern exposure yesterday.

7am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore

No southerly energy at Barbers, but we know there's a small Tasman Sea swell in the water. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

New NW swell picked up at NW and Waimea and is only showing 2.5ft 15s at 7am Pauwela, but it's obviously destined to build. Below are the maps of February 6 to 9 that show the fetch that generated it. Home guess for Hookipa is around head to possibly head and a half in the morning and building to double overhead plus by the end of the day.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
