Thursday 2 29 24 morning call

Yesterday I did two downwind runs but I didn't take any photos. Today there will be an unofficial practice race for the SUP foilers who are training for this summer's race season. Posted by Mauidownwindfoil.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
            • 1.2ft
              , 13s, S 190º
            • 0.4ft
              , 20s, SSW 195º
Small southerly energy continues at Barbers and today there's also sign of a new small long period one. Below are the maps of February 22 and 23 that show the fetch that generated it. Surfline calls for 2ft 16s tomorrow. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

Only windswell at Pauwela. Home guess for Hookipa is around head high.
