Hookipa yesterday at sunset.
I had the pleasure to meet Torrey Meister in the parking lot and learn that he moved to Maui for a couple of years. Good, one more excellent surfer to photograph.

NW swell started arriving yesterday afternoon and it will continue to slowly rise all day. It was refreshing to see clean long period lines after the last three days of stormy, closely generated northerly energy. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half, possibly bigger in the afternoon.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
