Tuesday 2 27 24 morning call

Jerome on a new Swing V4 at Kaa yesterday.

F-One will release three different 2024 models in April: Strike V4, Swing V4 and a new one called Origin. Here's a video I shot yesterday with a 3.0 Origin.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
            • 1.7ft
              , 13s, SSW 205º
The reason why Barbers shows some 13s southerly energy today and not the past days is because there's no NW energy hitting it anymore. Barbers is located in a spot too exposed to that and as such is not a particularly reliable buoy for the small southerly energies readings. Lanai is much better, but it's still down. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

NW101

      • 6.9ft
        , 11s, NE 40º
      • 5.6ft
        , 8s, ENE 70º

Waimea

      • 4.6ft
        , 13s, N 10º
      • 4.3ft
        , 8s, NE 40º
      • 2ft
        , 5s, NNE 30º

Pauwela

      • 6.6ft
        , 12s, NE 45º
      • 6.8ft
        , 8s, NE 50º
      • 3.6ft
        , 5s, ENE 65º

All about the NE energy of different periods you see at Pauwela today. Home guess for Hookipa is around double overhead.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
