Tuesday 2 6 24 morning call

JDFollowCam sent me a clip he took while foiling at Kaa a few days ago from which I made this collage of a cutback.

6am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion. South shore
Barbers
            • 5.5ft
              , 8s, SSE 155º
Barbers shows some SSE windswell, and the cam shows some waves that look more like a small west wrap. Check the Kihei webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

NW101

      • 5.9ft
        , 14s, WNW 285º
      • 6.9ft
        , 9s, E 100º

N

  • 7.7ft
    , 13s, NNE 25º

Waimea

      • 4.7ft
        , 13s, NNE 20º
      • 3.5ft
        , 15s, NW 320º
      • 4.7ft
        , 9s, NNE 30º

Pauwela

      • 8ft
        , 11s, ENE 60º
      • 4.5ft
        , 13s, NE 45º
      • 5.5ft
        , 6s, E 80º

WNW and NNE energies are still in the water even though Pauwela doesn't show any of the first. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half to double with strong ESE wind. Pipe contest should be on soon.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
