New distantly generated long period NW swell is at the outher buoys and will rise all day locally (Surfline calls for 5.4ft 18s at 6pm). Below are the maps of February 20 through 22 that show the fetch that generated it. Plenty angular spreading involved (bulk of the energy will travel north of us).

Pauwela also shows strong 9s NE energy and the N buoy reads 4.6ft 14s from 25 which will add to the mix throughout the day. With all these energies and the strong easterly wind, don't expect anything particularly clean, unless you find a sheltered spot. Home guess for Hookipa is around head and a half of mixed waves, with the NW sets building to double overhead plus at sunset (if the forecast is correct).

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
