Saturday 6 26 21 morning call

South shore yesterday morning.

Hookipa at sunset had some head highers.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
2.5ft @ 14s from 185° (S)

Lanai

2.1ft @ 14s from 180° (S)
0.9ft @ 18s from 202° (SSW)

Couple of feet 14s is always fun, plus Lanai shows a promising foot 18s of a new long period pulse. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW001

4.5ft @ 12s from 327° (NW)
4.3ft @ 10s from 321° (NW)

Hanalei
3.7ft @ 10s from 318° (NW)

Waimea
4.1ft @ 9s from 338° (NNW)

Pauwela
3.8ft @ 9s from 3° (N)

NW energy of yet another out of season small swell is at the buoys (again, not sure why Pauwela shows N). Below are the maps of June 20 through 25 that show the fetch that created it.

Home guess for Hookipa is for shoulder to head high and clean.

Forecast and energy spectrum of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here (click on animation of the 10 meter column).
