Hookipa yesterday.
Exciting times at Hi-Tech: thanks to my very positive feedback, we just started carrying F-one foils (in addition to their wings) and local prone foil ripper Jake Musson bought the very first setup. We still carry Gofoil, Armstrong and Lift and we just got the High Aspect X of these last ones.
We also have three different sizes of the production Kalama barracuda in stock and we put a 7.10 in the rental fleet.
5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.

Barbers
- 3.1ft, 13s, S 180º
Lanai
- 2.6ft, 13s, S 170º
- 2.3ft, 11s, SSE 165º
3ft 13s is a good size on paper, but the reality can always be different. That's why I always tell everyone to... check the Lahaina webcam if interested,
for size, conditions and consistency!
NW001
- 3.6ft, 11s, NW 310º
Hanalei

- 1.4ft, 12s, NW 310º
Waimea

New small NW energy is rising at the buoys. Below are the maps of May 7 through 9 that show the fetch that generated it. Surfline calls for 3ft 15s at sunset.
Home guess for Hookipa is waist to chest high to start the day with, building steadily throughout the day to possibly overhead at sunset. Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
Fetches map (circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
