Friday 12 18 20 morning call

For a change Jimmie Hepp shot the surfers yesterday. My pick of the album.

4am significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
No southerly energy at the buoys, check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
NW101
5.9ft @ 15s from 339° (NNW)

Waimea
5.7ft @ 15s from 318° (NW)

Mokapu

NW swell still up at the buoys, with the easterly windswell on the way up due to the strong trades that will blow strong over the weekend. Hookipa will have overhead waves with rough conditions.

Wind map at noon .The other ones can be found at link n.-2 of GP's meteo websites list in the right column (click on animation of the 10 meter column).
