Saturday 7 10 21 morning call

South shore back to background levels yesterday.

After one of the many extremely exciting SUP foiling sessions of the past few days, I had the following thought:"I don't think I'll ever go back to Indo in summer time. This is just as fun, or even more fun!".
This photo proposed by the Facebook memories makes me question that, but I truly had some incredible emotions foiling. Good to have options.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
2.1ft @ 13s from 192° (SSW)

Lanai

2.4ft @ 13s from 180° (S)

0.7ft @ 20s from 174° (S)

South swell still lingering at the buoys in the 13s range, while Lanai offers a new small 20s energy. I quickly checked the fetches maps and didn't find anything particularly exciting, so I don't think it will do much at all. We had a great week, now it's time to go back to background small waves. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Pauwela

2.8ft @ 7s from 20° (NNE)
1.6ft @ 5s from 76° (ENE)
1.2ft @ 11s from 100° (E)

North shore is flat.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here (click on animation of the 10 meter column).
