Thursday 7 29 21 morning call

No photos from yesterday. A friend of mine is in my favorite spot in Indonesia and posted this on the 27th.

The same day of 2017 I posted this photo of the same wave.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

1.1ft @ 14s from 195° (SSW)
0.6ft @ 12s from 179° (S)

Very small southerly energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Pauwela

3.9ft @ 7s from 79° (ENE)
3.6ft @ 8s from 90° (E)

Small easterly windswell at the buoy, home guess for Hookipa is flat with very small waves at Pavillions, a little bigger on the eastern exposures.

Forecast and energy spectrum of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here (click on animation of the 10 meter column).
