Wednesday 7 28 21 morning call

An intense day of winging (three very diverse sessions) ended with my first (in this discipline) footstrap related mild ankle injury. Jason Hall took this picture before it happened, yesterday at sunset.

7am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
1.2ft @ 14s from 179° (S)

Very small southerly energy at Barbers (Lanai N/A). Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency. Epic snorkeling.

North shore

3.7ft @ 8s from 90° (E)
3.4ft @ 6s from 80° (E)

Small easterly windswell at the buoy, home guess for Hookipa is borderline flat with small waves at Pavils and on easterly exposures.

Forecast and energy spectrum of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here (click on animation of the 10 meter column).
