oahu day 11 - one wave at China Walls
11th day in a row of awesome surfing.
More to come with a healthy mix of windsurfing action too in the second half of the week. And, after I checked the north pacific weather map, even an out of season NW swell on Thursday... you guys ready for Pipeline?
Thomas, the colors in Oahu are unreal. Always sunny, always dry because of the offshore wind.
Sharon, mmm... shall I believe you? It's hard to keep the count without a wave counting device, plus that would be your all time ever record. Send proof, please...
Karl, it's rigth there. Maybe try a different browser or go directly to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2mXRS399jQ
C'mon Cammar, let's start seeing some of those turns you need to be working on. Just kidding, looks greet. Here in So Cal we are starting to see some of that energy from the south. Now if we can only get both swells to meet, we'll get some huge peaks.
Yo Robert, I was just flying down the line trying to make that section in front of me... but I didn't. Haven't seen that wave line up the best yet. When it does, I bet it's heaven. Good luck with your peaks. PLENTY energy from the south, that's for sure...
uride2, I don't have any recommendation on where to stay, but I'm sure waikiki has a few options to offer... As for the kiting, I saw a few at Diamond head. They were doing pretty good. No idea how they launch...
Born and raised in Italy, I became an engineer and worked 11 years in the IT industry. Sick of that, in 2001 I wanted to take a year off and spend it in Maui, the best windsurfing spot in the world. Not only I'm still here (in Maui), but I also got into surfing. And the stoke is flying high. Life is too short to work 8 hours a day...

nice colors in the video... i always find that Oahu can make for a nice change of scenery compared to the usual Maui madness...
That's almost as good as the 34 waves I caught on my SUP yesterday!

Oh this is killing me.
Need to surf!
Need a plane ticket.
Where does a guy stay for 4 or 5 nights nights.
Can I kite (instead of windsurf)?
