Tuesday 3 2 21 morning call

No photos of yesterday. This is a stock image of Cloudbreak by Namotu Island Resort.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

1.3ft @ 14s from 193° (SSW)
1.1ft @ 11s from 209° (SSW)

Lanai

1.8ft @ 13s from 195° (SSW)

Interesting/suspicious 13-14s SSW energy readings at the buoys. I couldn't find a possible source for it, do check the Lahaina or Kihei webcams if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Pauwela

8.4ft @ 9s from 65° (ENE)
4.3ft @ 7s from 67° (ENE)

Back to windswell only, home guess for Hookipa is sloppy head to head and a half.

Wind map at noon. While waiting for the usual wind maps to come back online, these are two alternatives: PACIOOS page and Surfline.

Fetches map
(circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked) from Windy.
North Pacific
(about 4 days travel time from the NW corner of the North Pacific):

South Pacific
(about 7 days travel time from east/west of New Zealand):

Morning sky.
