Saturday 4 3 21 morning call

Another day with no photos of the day. Here's a video I found that is very appropriately named. I will never forget how deceivingly perfect Impossibles looked the first time I saw it. Unfortunately, I never surfed it as make-able as in this video.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers

1.4ft @ 12s from 214° (SW)
1.1ft @ 16s from 187° (S)

Lanai

1.5ft @ 13s from 202° (SSW)
1.4ft @ 16s from 184° (S)

Second long period swell doesn't look as big as the previous one. There should be another possibly similar pulse on Monday. Check the Lahaina or Kihei webcams if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore
Waimea
2ft @ 12s from 344° (NNW)

Pauwela

3.4ft @ 9s from 66° (ENE)
2.6ft @ 11s from 4° (N)
2ft @ 6s from 42° (NE)

Small numbers at Pauwela will equate to small waves at Hookipa. Home guess is for waist to shoulder high.

Energy spectrum of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.

Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here (click on animation of the 10 meter column).
