Friday 12 19 21 morning call

Below is the video of the epic day I had yesterday. Two foiling downwinders (one with the Foil Drive, one with the wing) using different foils and always trying new things. My goal is to find out what's the smallest foil I can have fun with in both the Foil Drive assisted SUP foiling downwinders and the wing ones.

5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
2.1ft @ 13s from 199° (SSW)

Nice SSW energy at Barbers. Check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

North shore

Hanalei
4ft @ 12s from 331° (NNW)

Waimea
2.3ft @ 13s from 336° (NNW)

Kaneohe Bay
6.5ft @ 8s from 69° (ENE)

Small NNW energy at the upstream buoys, but I still think the main energy noticeable in the water will be the easterly windswell. Home guess for Hookipa is chest to head high, bigger on eastern exposures.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
