Saturday 12 18 21 morning call

I tried many different foil setups yesterday and discovered that the Foil Drive makes testing foils much more effective. Photo by Tomoko.

The WNW swell might have not been particularly big in Maui due to its direction, but check out the highlights from the HIC Pipe Pro yesterday. Imai and Ian Gentil got some awesome barrels and dominated their heats. Too bad there's no streaming, today should be pretty good too.

4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
No southerly energy at Barbers, check the Lahaina webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.

WNW swell is at the buoys, hard to tell how much we're getting of it. Home guess for Hookipa is for inconsistent head and a half sets.
