Hookipa yesterday.
4am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
1.9ft @ 12s from 233° (WSW)
No southerly energy at Barbers, check the Lahaina
webcam if interested, for size, conditions and consistency.
North shore
Hanalei
2.6ft @ 11s from 333° (NNW)
Waimea
2.3ft @ 11s from 340° (NNW)
Kaneohe Bay
6.4ft @ 7s from 72° (ENE)
Just like yesterday, small NNW energy at the upstream buoys, but I still think the main
energy noticeable in the water will be the easterly windswell. Home
guess for Hookipa is chest to head high, bigger on eastern exposures
