Wednesday 12 22 21 morning call

No photos from yesterday, this is a comparison between the foil gear I was riding 4 years ago (video by Jason taken in Dec 2017) and what's on top my car at the moment. It's been a wonderful journey, far from approaching its end.

4-5am Surfline significant buoy readings and discussion.
South shore
Barbers
1.7ft @ 14s from 194° (SSW)

Barbers shows SSW energy now back to 14s. This time it could be coming from this fetch from the maps below of Dec 15 and 16.

There also seems to be a wrap from the NNE swell.

North shore
N
10.2ft @ 12s from 26° (NNE)

Hilo

6.7ft @ 12s from 20° (NNE)

Kaneohe Bay
7.2ft @ 12s from 20° (NNE)

Strong 12s NNE swell continues at the buoys. Home guess for Hookipa is for double overhead at least.
After at least 24 hours of continuous rain, we might even get to see the sun later in the day, as Windy satellite shows the clouds moving to our east.

Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
