Third day in a row of excellent surfing (if you knew where and when to be, that is).
Here's a bunch of photos from the harbor. Imai celebrated his qualification for next season's WCT by destroying Middle's right.
Conditions at the Jetty were extremely tough for the surfers and more suited for the bodyboarders, who, at least, could compete in their category. Not a sport/spot combo for the faint of hearts.
Jacob Romero's opening wave in his heat.
Surfers now. This was a massive drop at the outside peak. I think he made it all the way through the inside barrel, but a person stood in front of me and I couldn't catch that.
This kid has a knack for barrels.
Outside of the harbor, Pier One looked like Jaws.
4am NOAA

North swell coming down in size after two days of extra largeness, but still plenty waves on the north shore if you can catch the right moment between wind and rain. Home guess for Hookipa is head and a half or more, empty, clean and possibly brown.
Forecast of Pauwela from this PACIOOS page.
Wind map at noon. The other ones can be found here.
Fetches map (circles legend: red: direct aim, blue: angular spreading, black: blocked, yellow: possibly over the ice sheet) from Windy.
